Registration

The Society for AIDS in Africa, organizer of ICASA conference wish to bring to the notice of all cherished delegates that from Monday 29th November 2021 at 12 midnight South Africa time, online registration will be closed. Meanwhile, we will welcome registration for virtual participation. Also, few in-person for onsite registration will be possible based on first come first serve at the venue from 5th December 2021 at 2 pm in Durban ICC.

Mode of payments: Only electronic cards are allowed from 29th November to 11th December 2021. However, cash will be allowed onsite.

SAA signs MoU with ICASA 2021 Host Country, Durban - South Africa

The Society for AIDS in Africa, organizers of the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA) has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of South Africa to host ICASA 2021 in Durban, South Africa, from 6th – 11th December 2021. The signing of the MoU took place at the Durban International Conference Centre (Durban ICC).

ICASA 2021 Objectives

  • To strengthen health systems to integrate high impact interventions on comorbidities, emerging infections and NCDs.
  • To build, strengthen and invest in Africa’s scientific capacity and manufacturing of vaccines, diagnostics and therapeutics.
  • To Identify in Africa, resource tailored interventions for populations most affected including women, children, adolescents, men and Key Populations.
  • To evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on the HIV/AIDS response and share lessons learned in overcoming barriers in maintaining continuity of care for people living with and at risk for HIV infection.
  • To amplify national, regional, continental and global integration to reach epidemic control in Africa: Contributions from Africans in the Diaspora.

Satellite Symposium

Satellite sessions take place in the conference center, but are fully organized and coordinated by the organization hosting the satellite. Conference organizers make satellite slots available for a fee, based on the room capacity and the time slot, and will allocate slots based on the overall conference programme.
